  1. Dear Colin:

My deepest sympathies on your great loss. And, to the Woldenberg family too.

The changes that come from the terribly premature loss of your dear loving partner evoke in me great empathy for you and all those who came to meet and know Susan. Her passion for good, and her unstinting care of you and all that you both valued, left in me – and in all who had the privilege of such an experience, I feel sure – an indelible memory.

My first opportunity to meet Susan was when the three of us some 10 years ago went to Tasmania and I was able first-hand to experience a generosity of spirit – not to forget Susan’s amazing culinary skills. Despite adversity in her health, she strove to be all that she could be, not only in her own life and as your loving and doting wife and partner, but also in the community … not only in Canberra and Tasmania, but also in all parts of the world where your joint initiatives continue to flourish.

May her dear soul rest in peace and may her legacy in all that the two of you initiated and inspired in one another endure for the sake of all of us!

With my warm thoughts from afar for continued love, health, peace and joy! I am with you all in spirit!

    Colin Soskolne (Edmonton, Canada)
